Shawna Skrabal

Shawna began her culinary journey about 15 years ago. Hired as a dishwasher at a thriving restaurant downtown Portsmouth, she quickly went up the ranks from dishwasher to kitchen manager. Her enthusiasm, dedication, creativity and unmatched work ethic has kept her in this field, as she moved to a healthcare setting, as a cook. Taking on this new challenge, she has developed new ways to continue to bring along with her the knowledge, skills and integrity of food to a new cliental. Her favorite saying is “you eat with your eyes first” as she enjoys making artful and fun plates of meals for our residents, whom she cares very deeply for. 

On her off time, you can find her and her husband in her parents’ living room stuffed full of screaming Patriots fans! Theme food from scratch provided for each game, with help from her right-hand cook, her mom! As an entire family of diehard Pats fans (thanks Dad!), there’s no better way to spend a Sunday than enjoying time together, eating delicious food & cocktails. GO PATS!
